Biomass as one kind of clean energy include a wide range, referring to plants or plant-derived materials like agricultural straws, wood chips, Rice Husk etc which shall be smashing, briquetting or gasification, then burning to produce high temperature & pressure steam. The heat energy in steam shall be transferred to electric energy and supplied to innumerable homes via high efficiency steam turbine. Biomass power normally use condensing steam turbine for generating or co-generation. The ash of biomass could be used as farmland fertilizer, provide green power for crops.
