Small and middle size condensing steam turbines and extraction condensing steam turbine which heat-to-electric ratio is lower than 1, due to their high coal consumption, in accordance with the requirements of the national energy policy, shall be eliminated. However, at present, many enterprises in China have captive power plants with a large number of such steam turbine. Now facing the situation of being shut down at any time; meanwhile many enterprises also have increasing heat load demand, and heating economy is better than power supply. Therefore, transforming this type of turbine to a policy-required back-pressure steam turbine with a large thermoelectric ratio and high thermal efficiency, the reconstruction can not only meet heating demand of the enterprise, but also do not need change the location and main structure of original turbine. With little investment, the exhaust steam of steam turbine is fully used for production, thereby greatly improving the effective utilization of energy. It is a low-investment, short-cycle, quick-response energy-saving transformation.
At present, QNST has provided reforming services for extraction condensing turbine to (extraction) back pressure turbines in multiple power plants and has accumulated rich experience in reforming. deepening transformation for various types of small and middle sized steam turbine, thereby improving the existing turbine’s steam supply capacity and the thermal efficiency of the power plant; which obtain the best reforming effect with minimal changes.
